Yesterday was our 23rd Anniversary,  we spent it burning brush down below the house near the creek, the next phase in replanting fir trees to add a layer of privacy along one of the property borders..  The property along the other side of the creek has been divided into 2 acre plots, there are a total of 10 house tracts and we really dislike the idea of someone coming along and building a home that close with that much visibility into our back yard.  Not that they will sell any soon, they've already came up with 5 dry wells on that stretch of land..  Why would we choose to celebrate that way?  Long story..when we first started dating he'd just bought the property the year before and was still in the process of clearing and burning, we spent lots of time up here so i guess you could call it coming full circle..  We did go out to dinner in the evening, Mexican food downtown to a restaurant we hadn't been to in yrs..it was ok, the drinks were the best part aside from the company..LOL  Of course today i woke up with extreme soreness in both wrists (carpal tunnel) and my elbow (old injury)  didn't crawl out of bed until 9am, which is unusually late for me, usually it's 6:30 or 7am at the latest..  Sister wanted to come up for coffee..we visited for awhile, then i went grocery shopping and came back and helped lyn (our 21 yr old daughter) pick out a new hairstyle..and haircolor..  I mowed and she took off with her bestie for a new hairstyle and parts unknown..  Nice day but slower moving one..
